It is a 3 hour drive from the airport in Belize City to Placencia, Belize via the Hummingbird Highway. The roads are now paved all the way into Placencia Village. Alternatively, you can take a 3 minute drive to the Placencia Airport and a 25 minute flight to Belize City. It all depends how much time you have, and how much of an adventure that you are up for!
